  2. Can you prove to me that recycled air filters are just as good or better than new filters? Yes. Here is a link to a PDF document explaining the testing that has been performed on recycled filters Vs. new filters. Click here (914KB)

  3. If I use a recycled air filter, does it void my manufacturer's warranty? No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act of 1975 protects consumers from voided warranties by use of compatible parts unless that manufacturer can prove that the part directly contributed to a failure. For more information, visit the FTC's website.

  4. Is recycling filters really better for the environment than buying new filters? Yes. Turbo Vac approaches this business with a "ZERO LANDFILL OUTPUT" mentality. All reusable filters are cleaned, inspected and returned to production. The removed excess dust is used by concrete manufacturers as a binder. The non-reusable air filters (filters that, for one reason or another, cannot be put back into production) are compacted and recycled for their metal content.

  5. How does Turbo Vac get and return the filters? Turbo Vac services the state of Florida. Pick up and delivery is included as part of our service. Out-of-state customers may use their own shipping method or we can arrange shipping at the additional cost.

  6. How many times can a filter be recycled? Typically, filters can be recycled an average of five times. Some filters can be recycled up to 30 times. The real limit is whether the filter gets damaged during use or whether is does not pass the stringent quality tests.
