Turbo Vac has its roots in the mobile lube business. In 1991, Enviro Lube Inc. was founded. Enviro Lube foresaw the environmental wave of change and began using a 'closed loop' system for heavy equipment oil changes. These machines also used heavy-duty air filters and they were expensive.

We were then introduced to a state-of-the-art air filter cleaning machine. Initially, we were concerned about the efficiency of recycled filters in high-priced equipment. We compared a new air element to a recycled element in identical loaders. Oil analysis showed that at the 250 hour oil change, the loader with the recycled air filter actually showed a lower silica count compared to the one with the new filter.
